Dee Dee compiled this collection of American Bark recipes between 1998 and 2004, after Williams Sonoma introduced its festive Pepperming Candy Bark.  Dee Dee immediately realized that much of her earlier work with Fudges and Puddles could be applied to Barks.  She already had an abundance of delicious ingredient combinations developed for her earlier candies, and she transformed some of that work into Bark recipes.  Like her other two recipe collections, this is in a class of its own.  Dee Dee was a cake decorator, candy maker and food stylist for decades and her skills are showcased in these recipes through hundreds of images of beautifully styled Barks.  It’s a classy, well thought out resource that is far more extensive than any competing product.  If you’re a chocolateer, you’ll be happy you stumbled onto this one-of-a-kind recipe collection.
